SAILORJONES MEDIA HEADING TO CHINA

Toronto – August 31, 2007 - SailorJones Media is among 30 Canadian production companies participating in an upcoming trade mission to China. Heritage Canada today announced the delegates for their October 25th – November 2nd Audio/Visual Trade Mission. Meetings are scheduled with Chinese producers, buyers and government officials in Shanghai, Chengdu and Beijing. While in Chengdu, the film, television and new media producers will participate in the Sichuan Television Festival exploring opportunities in the emerging Chinese market.

Intended to encourage the growth of Canada’s cultural sector, the trade mission is being led by the Trade and Investment Branch of the Department of Canadian Heritage.
