The 6 additional languages planned for production include: Spanish, Inukitut, Cree, Polish, Portuguese and Punjabi.

5 on 5 for 5 is a pitch session in which five producers with innovative ideas compete for a private pitch opportunity within Discovery Communications and a $500 honorarium from Discovery Health Channel. Out of the many fascinating ideas submitted by producers for this session, only five were selected to present five-minute project pitches to a panel of five television programming executives .
“I am thrilled“, said Barbara Jones, Executive Producer of Toronto based SailorJones Media. “The CINE Pitch award provides incredible exposure to key decision makers at major US networks and the opportunity to meet with Discovery Networks US representatives”, she added. The award also secures private meetings with the Raleigh based Blue Bear Productions and WETA, the Washington, DC. PBS affiliate.
The award went to the project, ‘Water Boys', an unscripted documentary series that will chronicle a diverse group of 12 passionate and determined young rookies vying for the America's Cup.
"Barbara's presentation for 'Water Boys' had everything the judges look for in a winning pitch: a very clear description of the story viewers would actually see on the screen, well-defined characters, what and to whom the appeal would be, and very importantly, a passion for the project, said David L. Weiss, Executive Director of CINE. “It was one of our best pitches ever".
